Behind the Success: Fureeha Malik

If you had told me ten years ago that I’d be coaching leaders and facilitating workshops around the world, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

My career has taken a path I never could have planned.

I began as an educator because I loved helping people learn and grow. For nearly eight years, I taught in the classroom, designed curriculum, and discovered the joy of seeing someone realize they’re capable of more than they imagined.

When I became a mother, life shifted. I wanted a career that offered more flexibility while allowing me to homeschool my three children, so I stepped into the world of cybersecurity. It was an unexpected transition, but one that taught me resilience, systems thinking, and how to thrive in fast-changing environments.

Then I discovered leadership facilitation.

It felt like every chapter of my life suddenly made sense.

Education taught me how people learn.

Cybersecurity taught me how organizations think.

Coaching taught me how people grow.

Today, I have the privilege of bringing all of those experiences together to help individuals and organizations lead with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me homeschooling my children, volunteering with various organizations, planning our next family adventure, reading a good book, or enjoying a cup(S) of coffee.

Those moments remind me that leadership isn’t just something we practice at work—it’s something we live every day, in our families, our communities, and the choices we make.
